Dream Lust List

Hello there!
Well its an unusual Friday for me. Due to the snow my poor little car got stuck on the drive and I was unable to make my 35 mile commute to work. Today has been spent mostly in my PJs watching daytime TV whilst browsing for a cute Sunday-Bank-Holiday-Outfit. No luck just yet.

I thought I would make a dream list for you guys to see items I would LOVE in my collection. The beauty of Ebay is that most of the below items have dupes available, but if I did have a bit more bank to my balance below are some of the items I would purchase.

1. Alexander Mcqueen Union Jack Purse
2. YSL Arty Ring ...please can I have one please please?
3. Alexander McQueen Silk Chiffon Scarf I love how summery this is, such a staple scarf to have in your wardrobe
4.  Mulbery Willow Tote
5. Missoni Crotchet-knit bikini
6. Hottubs? I have a few friends that are lucky enough to have their own hottub. Maybe its because I'm obsessed with the weather warming up I don't know. But If I could plonk one in the garden I certainly would! Shame its snowing outside today...

What would you have on your lust list?

YSL Touche Eclait Foundation Review

When it comes to foundations I much prefer a dewy base. I have a lot of love for Estee Lauder’s matt double wear foundation because of its longevity and office appropriate durability, but a dewy base is no1 for me, and its around spring time I look for a lighter coverage foundation to let my skin breathe a little more as the weather (potentially!?) gets warmer.
I purchased Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclait around Christmas time with super high hopes. The foundation bottle as with all YSL packaging is a product of beauty. Its iconic gold lid and delicate gold writing makes it an appealing little bottle to sit on my dressing table, who doesn’t like a bit of decadence?! It would be moronic to not mention the inspiration of this foundation: YSLs touché eclait highlighter which has been a must have product for many years known for its highlighting properties and this foundation was a highly anticipated product by many woman all over the world.

I like the gold pump (take note Estee Lauder double wear), I like YSLs expansive colour range and different selections of colour tones, and I do think I have a good match to my skin tone. It’s just I haven’t enjoyed this product as much as I had hoped, having worn it on nights out any sort of camera flashback gives me a ghostly appearance rather than a glowy one. The foundation is slightly scented which I could do without and unfortunately it does not last on my skin for the endurance of my hours in the office and the formula is a bit runnier than I would like. After a little research I am going to give this a try applying this with my fingers. I’ve not given up on this foundation as I think it will fit the bill for a slighter spring/summer foundation, but I am somewhat underwhelmed. Ive made no secret of my hunt for a Chanel pro lumiere dupe in the past, and unfortunately this isn’t the one.
Have you ever tried Touche Eclait foundation?

Ebay Lusts- A VIPXO tribute.

Hello everyone!
Pheww been a while since my last post, I guess I feel the need to inform you that posts are going to be a little few and far between for a little while. This is because I am in the last three months of my final year in university...I have a dissertation to write as well as other lectures, module work to complete and a job also....I know zzzzzz!

I am a big fan of Victoria India over at VIPXO
My favourite post of hers is an ebay post. She has a formspring account where you can request item look-alikes or specific item and she will find them for you. She is particularly good at designer inspired items. I love looking at the pretty and wonderful things she comes out with, its a brilliant way of opening up to being more fashion forward without breaking the bank!
With that in mind I thought Id show you some bits in my "Watch" list on Ebay:

1 2 3 4 5 6

A little bag heavy I must say!

What have you got your eye on?
Send me some links Id love to see!

YSL Indulgence

I am a huge lipstick fan. HUGE
It was only a week last Saturday I had a weak moment whilst browsing Cheapsmells
when I came across these beautiful YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks.
They were £5 off RRP so the temptation was even larger.

There were a variety of colours available so I checked some reviews on YouTube before purchasing.
I chose a fuchsia pink and a light pink.
Left: 10 Provocative Pink
Right: 7 Lingerie Pink

These lippies are SEXY. They have sexy names and just ooze class and sophistication. A welcome visitor to any dressing table, they are beautiful to look at. I remeber watching a Pixiwoo2/@TanyaBurr video once and she commented along the line of "I wish all lipsticks were as sexy as YSL".
I feel the same.

They feel weighty in your hand and I love the classy gold design. Its really not going to be subtle getting one of these babies out of your purse!
Top: 7 Lingerie Pink
Bottom: 10 Provocative Pink

The texture of the lipsticks are creamy. When looking at both lippies I saw two immediate dupes.
The 7 Lingerie Pinkis very similar to MAC Viva Glam Gaga.
It has similar blue undertones but is a much creamier texture.
(Sorry my lips need some love and attention!)
I know the Viva glam gaga was criticised for not being very wearable.
But rather than slathering this colour on it is very buildable depending on how much you want you lips to POP.
My deepest apologies my Gaga lipstick disappeared a while ago so I cannot physically compare them!
10 Provocative Pink
This is a deep fuchsia, it really has the capabilities to give the POP you may want.
This lippie is for all those bold lipstick wearers out there...hurrah!
I really love the colour, it is so beautiful,
I also have a dupe for this one also: MAC Girl About Town
Top: MAC Girl About Town
Bottom: YSL Rouge Volumpte 10 Provocative Pink

The YSL is a little darker than the MAC, but they colour pay off is very similar.
I have to say though that the YSL has a much better staying power than the MAC, although I adore it I have spent many nights constantly re-applying to achieve the same POP.
In Other News
My eyebrows continue to look almightily crap!,,,may book a consultation tomorrow!

I had a session on some toning tables today. Their basically machines that create resistance in order to tone your body. I am sceptical but it was good fun!

Its my birthday on Saturday :) :) :) !!

What are your favourite lipsticks?
Wishing you a good week!
