Hair Care Series #2 Moroccanoil Hair Mask

Those of you that may have read my Anti-Snap post from last week will have read of my being-a- -bleach-blonde hair troubles.

I know Morroccan oil got a lot of love round about this time last year and some bloggers swear by the stuff so I was very intrigued about the Moroccan oil haircare range.

This hair mask is defiantly within the luxury haircare range because of its protein contents. The way this product has improved my hair condition has been quite considerable. I usually apply this to the lengths and ends of my hair when it is dry and can leave it on my hair for up to 20 minutes. (I just cant justify jumping in and out of the shower mid-week! ) The texture of this hair mask is thick and smells glorious. Very little is needed and at the price I paid I expect this product to last a reasonable amount of time.

It goes without saying there are some very reasonable and more affordable hair masks available in the drug store, my favourites have to be Loreal Elvive Full Restore and Aussie 3 Minute Miracle both of which I really could do with restocking on soon.

Haircare Series #1 Anti Snap

Those of you that have read my blog for a while will know that I am chemically enhanced blonde, yep all this blonde is down to a lot, a LOT of bleach.
I have very dark brown hair naturally and I don’t mind sharing with you that it took a lot of processing and trips to the hair salon to get such a vibrant blonde.

After going on a hair care spree I was really disappointed in some of the products I had purchased from the high street. With my hair much drier and difficult to manage than usual I took to Youtube and beauty blogs to search for miracle hair products. In this series I intend to share with you products that worked...and those that were a disappointment.
One that was highly recommended was Redken Anti-snap.

Anti-snap is a leave in treatment. I always run this through my hair when damp and the difference in my hairs look feel and texture has been really impressive. Not only would I recommend this product to fellow bleach blondes but to anyone that is experiencing dry hair. The formula is protein rich and works in fortifying the hair lengths. I was lucky in having hair strong enough that it never got to the stage of breaking off, and I’m at a blonde where all I need is a root tint from time to time so my ends aren’t getting fried as much as when I was visiting the hairdressers for highlights.

This product has made my hair noticeably softer manageable and healthy looking and although it’s a little pricey at £14.30 I think this product will last for a long amount of time and continue giving the same results. Its always worth keeping an eye on Feel Unique's website as they regularly offer 10%, free postage
