Estee Lauder Double Wear.

A pet hate of mine is watching/reading reviews of a foundation product where it is proclaimed that it will least about 4/5 hours.

 Who has just 4/5 hours to stay looking their best?

In my new job I leave the house at 6:30 am and I am home just before 5.

I want to keep that freshly applied face of mine lasting as well as it should with minimum effort and maximum results. Surely I am not the only woman with such requirements?

Estee Lauder received rave reviews on its double wear foundation release.

It is a matt finish foundation which promises maximum of 15 hours lasting power.

I would say that my skin type is normal to oily- as the day comes to a close I become a little shiny and this is what I was seeking out originally to combat. I must also mention I am really lazy when it comes to mid-day touch ups. I never carry any makeup other than lipstick on my person because I always seem to loose it.

So this is the finish on first application.

No editing at all in this picture- I wanted it to be as real as possible.

I have added a dusting of MAC's Prep and Prime Translucent powder to set it.

Considering it is a full coverage foundation I don't think it looks cakey on my skin.

I think the blush I'm wearing indicates I'm wearing makeup more so than the foundation application itself.

For those that prefer a lighter formula I know that Estee Lauder also have a double wear light product available but for me I really like this foundation.

Ive noticed the little blob I apply to the back of my hand does not budge all they- the formula is certainly very tough.

Estee Lauder double wear is available in Boots and Debenhams or any other department stores.

Have you tried this foundations? What tricks do you have to keep your foundation lasting all day?
